The drift problem:
When drift fishing, even the most streamlined conventional sinkers present their side profile to the water current resulting in significant water resistance. This means the angler has to use more weight to maintain contact with the bottom and overcome drift-back. This problem limits the depth that can be fished effectively...and the faster the drift and the deeper the water the greater this problem becomes.
The solution:
The AquaDart always auto-orientates into the direction of motion during all 3 phases - the descent, the lateral drift phase and the ascent. Unlike a conventional sinker, the AquaDart points into the water current during the drift, resulting in at least 5 times less water resistance compared to the best conventional sinker for any given weight. The AquaDart perfectly complements modern low diameter braid lines which cut through the water more efficiently. The combination of braid lines and the AquaDart make it possible to fish in situations that would not be possible with conventional weights.
